Life on the Wreck of the Scottish Prince

The Scottish Prince was a sailing barque that was carrying cargo from Glasgow (Scotland) to Brisbane (Australia). The ship ran aground heading north up the east coast of Australia in 1887. Since that time it has become a sanctuary for large numbers of marine life.

Seagrass recovery from human impact

Moray eel threat behaviour

A large Moray eel made itself at home amongst our ARMS equipment at Wavebreak Island, south east Queensland. The eel displays a threatening pose to protect itself.
